Effectiveness

If the patients are properly chosen for speleotherapy, the conditions of a specific microclimate of the underground section of UAH influences their improvement after the treatment period: 82-90% - the adults and 90-95% - children.Because of the received improvement the patients' use of medecine naturally decreases. The most important fact is that after taking hormone-containing medicine, their doze is reduced, or even completely disappears the necessity of their use. Remember, that it is necessary to change medicine, doze and frequency of their use only under supervision of the doctor. It will help to avoid possible complications and, which is the most important, will enable to fix and considerably prolong the positive effect of speleotherapy. So, for example, the patients with preasthma, BA 1 easy level of disease's course, have stable remission, which lasts during 2 years and more, the patients with average level of disease's course- during 12-18 months.
